COSCO SHIPPING LINES (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced professional to support vessel operations through effective stowage coordination, cargo fulfilment management and DG/IMDG, OOG and UC approvals.

The role requires close collaboration with vessel planners, terminals, and regional offices to ensure optimal space utilisation and safety compliance. Responsibilities include reviewing stowage plans, monitoring loading capacity, coordinating with stakeholders, and generating

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.
2-3 years experience for Executive level; 4-6 years for Senior Executive, in container shipping, vessel operations or cargo coordination.
Knowledge of vessel stowage planning, DG/IMDG Code, OOG/UC cargo handling and related procedures.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and review vessel stowage plans to optimise space and loading efficiency.
Liaise with central planners, vessel operators and terminal planning teams on loading/discharge arrangements.
Monitor vessel capacity, cargo weight distribution and safety constraints; resolve discrepancies.
Coordinate DG, OOG and UC approvals and ensure compliance with regulations.
Maintain records, prepare reports and support process improvements.
