MAJU MARITIME PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a marine insurance claims and risk specialist to manage end-to-end claims for Hull & Machinery, P&I, Cargo and Crew, and to coordinate with surveyors, adjusters, and clubs for settlements.

You will review contracts, ensure compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL and flag state regulations, draft settlement documents, and advise internal teams on risk mitigation, claims procedures and policy exposures.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of marine insurance claims experience or equivalent in shipping law
• Strong drafting, analytical and negotiation capabilities
• Excellent communication with international stakeholders
• Familiarity with charter parties, carriage of goods and shipping contracts
• Experience with claims or case management systems is a plus

Responsabilités

• Manage end-to-end claims for Hull & Machinery, P&I, Cargo, Liability and Crew/Work Injury claims
• Assess claim validity by reviewing contracts, incident reports and insurance policies
• Coordinate with surveyors, adjusters and external counsel for assessments and negotiations
• Track progress and pursue recoveries to settlements
• Provide legal opinions and risk assessments on claim exposures
• Support litigation or arbitration cases when required
