Job summary

ARC MARINE ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a seasoned sales leader to head the Sales team in marine services and parts supply.

You will oversee quotations, cost estimates, and invoices, ensure timely approvals, and uphold high standards of performance, professionalism, and safety. Responsibilities include nurturing relationships with customers, pursuing new business, forecasting growth, coordinating with Production, and guiding the Sales Coordinator to smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Marine/Electrical Engineering or Business Administration.
• 5+ years in sales, BD, or account management in marine/ship repair or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of marine machinery, spare parts, and servicing.
• Familiar with Singapore shipyards and industry practices.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into commercial and technical proposals.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management.
• Proactive, results-driven, and capable of managing multiple projects.
• Proficient in MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular customer visits to maintain strong relationships.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow revenue.
• Develop business forecasts and sales plans.
• Collaborate with Production to monitor progress and inform customers.
• Coordinate procurement of spare parts and subcontracted services.
• Prepare and maintain sales reports and updates for management.
• Guide the Sales Coordinator in daily operations.
• Review quotations, price summaries, and invoices within timelines.
• Ensure compliance with Sales Procedures and policies.
