Job summary

HAI SOON SHIP MANAGEMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking an OOW officer to support the Fleet Manager in SMC management and vessel compliance. The role involves monitoring regulatory adherence, safety procedures, environmental protections and ISM/ISPS/MLC maintenance.

Responsibilities include crew interviewing and training, coordination for inspections (SIRE and statutory surveys), internal audits, and incident reporting, with emphasis on teamwork and clear communication in English.

Qualifications

• Holding CoC 1 or 2 is required.
• Minimum 1 year sailing experience as OOW.
• Good communication, analytical skills and team player.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
