Job summary

A ship management company in Singapore is looking for a committed person to ensure safe operations of vessels. Responsibilities include conducting inspections for compliance, monitoring vessels for inspections, and conducting crew training. Qualifications include sailing experience as Master or Chief Officer on oil tankers and familiarity with maritime regulations. A successful candidate will contribute to safe vessel operations and team training.

Qualifications

  • Sailing experience as Master or Chief Officer on Oil Tankers is required.
  • Between Class 3 to Class 5 COC.
  • Familiar with ISM codes, ISPS, MARPOL and other maritime regulations.
  • Familiar with Sire Inspection.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe operations of vessels.
  • Conduct regular ship inspections for compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Monitor, coordinate and attend to vessels for major inspections.
  • Incident/Accident Investigation and Reporting.
  • Conduct crew training and familiarization.

Overview

Ship Management and marine logistic company is looking for a committed person to join the team:

Responsibilities
  • Ensure safe operations of vessels
  • Conduct regular ship inspections to ensure compliance to the local/international statutory requirements, safety procedures and environmental protection requirements.
  • Monitor, coordinate and attend to vessels for oil major/class inspections related matters
  • Incident / Accident Investigation and Reporting
  • Able to carry out Superintendent Inspection and Audit on board vessel.
  • Conduct crew training/familiarization
  • Any other tasks assigned by the Company from time to time.
Qualifications
  • Sailing experience as Master or Chief Officer on Oil Tankers is required
  • Between Class 3 to Class 5 COC
  • Familiar with ISM codes, ISPS, MARPOL and other maritime regulations
  • Familiar with Sire Inspection
  • Good Communication, Analytical and Team Player
