Job summary

PETROGAS SHIPPING PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced maritime professional to oversee on-vessel safety and regulatory compliance.

The role involves ensuring adherence to ISM, ISPS, MLC and other international requirements, and supporting Masters and shipboard staff in safety, navigation and operations. The ideal candidate will conduct audits, inspections and incident investigations, liaise with port authorities, class societies and internal departments, and monitor vessel performance while

Qualifications

• Must hold Master Mariner (CoC Class 1) or Chief Officer with relevant shore-based experience.
• Strong understanding of safety management systems and maritime legislation.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Previous superintendent experience preferred.
