Job summary

Equatorial Marine Fuel Management Services Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a Master to lead vessel operations, ensuring safety, health and environmental compliance and to verify voyage plans and navigation audits.

You will coordinate RO audits, manage SIRE vetting submissions, ensure compliance with flag/port state requirements, and mentor crew during emergencies.

Qualifications

• Seagoing experience at Master level or shore experience in safety and environmental management for tankers.
• Familiar with international maritime regulations and requirements.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote and manage vessels' health, safety and environment compliance.
• Ensure vessels are able to perform voyages and operations.
• Arrange and manage audits and inspections required by recognised organisations (RO) – ISM, ISPS and MLC.
• Arrange and manage vetting inspections, including submissions onto the OCIMF SIRE platform.
• Oversee navigational matters, including approval of passage plans and navigation audits.
• Ensure compliance with terminal, operators, oil majors and charterers' requirements.
• Liaise with Flag State and Port State matters.
• Ensure Q88 and HVPQ are updated at all times.
• Advise on regulatory changes and industry best practices.
• Provide guidance and information regarding vessel capabilities and performances.
• Participate in the emergency response team and other projects as assigned.

• To monitor, review and update the company's SMS.
• To provide vessels with guidance and information regarding theabove.
• To provide support, training and enforcement in respect ofcrew competency and discipline.
• To provide support in respect of queries regarding vessels'capabilities and performances.
• Member of company's emergency response team.
• Attend to projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Seagoing experience as a Master (at least CoC class 1or 2), or at least 2 years of experience of shore experience in relation tosafety, health and environment management and compliance for product orchemical tankers.
• Familiar with international and local maritimeregulations and requirements.
• Strong sense ofintegrity and professionalism.
• Excellent leadership,teamwork, management and communication skills.
