Job summary

Direct Search Global in Singapore seeks a commercially driven Spare Parts Sales Manager to develop and expand sales of marine spare parts to shipowners, ship managers, shipyards and offshore operators.

The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, manage existing customer accounts and drive revenue growth through the supply of marine machinery components, replacement parts and aftermarket solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience in marine, shipping, offshore or industrial engineering environments.
• Proven track record in marine spare parts sales or aftermarket sales.
• Strong ability to interpret technical specifications and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to drive marine spare parts sales and achieve revenue targets.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with shipowners, ship managers, shipyards, ship chandlers and offshore operators.
• Establish and maintain relationships with technical superintendents, fleet managers and procurement teams.
• Manage existing customer accounts and generate repeat business through proactive account management.
• Coordinate quotations based on technical specifications, drawings and equipment details and negotiate terms.
• Oversee the full sales cycle from lead generation to order confirmation and delivery.
• Collaborate with procurement, suppliers, logistics and technical teams to ensure timely delivery of parts.
• Source spare parts from manufacturers and distributors to meet customer requirements.
