Job summary

SBM Group in Singapore is seeking a reliable driver to support our shipyard and construction operations. You will transport workers, deliver documents, and assist with site logistics while ensuring safety and punctuality.

Requirements include a valid Class 3 driving licence and at least 1 year of marine shipyard driving experience, plus ability to read simple English. The role involves routine vehicle checks and coordinating with multiple sites.

Qualifications

Possess a valid Class 3 driving licence.
Minimum 1 year of working experience as a driver in a marine shipyard environment.
Able to read and understand simple English.

Responsibilities

Pick up workers from dormitories and transport them to designated job sites according to scheduled timings.
Send workers from job sites back to dormitories as scheduled.
Arrange and provide transport for workers to swab tests, training courses, medical check-ups, fingerprinting, and other official appointments.
Perform delivery and collection of materials from suppliers when required.
Deliver documents between HQ, shipyard sites, and other locations as assigned.
Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper condition of the assigned vehicle.
Other adhoc duties as assigned.
