SBM Group is seeking a driver to support marine shipyard operations in Singapore. The role involves transporting workers to and from dormitories, sites, and appointments, plus handling documents and materials between sites in a fast-paced, safety-conscious setting.

Ideal candidates have a Class 3 licence, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and the ability to read simple English. Physically capable of handling loads and communicating effectively with the team.

Qualifikationen

• Valid Class 3 driving licence.
• Minimum 1 year of driving experience in a marine shipyard.
• Comfortable driving a 10-footer lorry.
• Able to read and understand simple English.
• Physically fit to carry heavy items (≥10 kg).
• Exposure to shipyard/construction/operational environments is an advantage.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, operational environment.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Aufgaben

• Pick up workers from dormitories and transport to job sites per schedule.
• Send workers from job sites back to dormitories as scheduled.
• Arrange transport for swab tests, training, medical checks, fingerprinting, and other appointments.
• Perform delivery and collection of materials from suppliers as required.
• Deliver documents between HQ, shipyard sites, and other locations.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks for safety and roadworthiness.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned vehicle.
• Undertake other adhoc duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick up workers from dormitories and transport them to designated job sites according to scheduled timings.
• Send workers from job sites back to dormitories as scheduled.
• Arrange and provide transport for workers to swab tests, training courses, medical check-ups, fingerprinting, and other official appointments.
• Perform delivery and collection of materials from suppliers when required.
• Deliver documents between HQ, shipyard sites, and other locations as assigned.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper condition of the assigned vehicle.
• Other adhoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Possess a valid Class 3 driving licence
