Job summary
SEARCH PERSONNEL PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a Marine Service Engineer (Navigation & Communication) to provide installation, servicing, troubleshooting and commissioning support for marine navigation and communication systems aboard vessels and at shipyards in Singapore and overseas.
You will travel overseas as required, work overtime, and take ownership of service jobs from start to finish while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum ITE/Nitec/Higher Nitec or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- 1–2 years hands-on experience troubleshooting marine navigation or communication equipment.
- Experience in marine, maritime, naval or defence industries is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide installation, servicing, troubleshooting and commissioning support for marine navigation and communication systems.
- Attend service assignments onboard vessels, at shipyards and customer locations in Singapore and overseas.
- Diagnose system faults and perform repairs, testing and rectification work.
- Coordinate work with shipyards, contractors and other service partners.
- Take ownership of service jobs from start to end and ensure safety and quality standards.
