A marine engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Engineer to assist in creating design office standards and to handle project management tasks. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, Solidworks, and experience with ship systems engineering. Responsibilities include technical support for junior employees and ensuring safety policies are enforced. This position requires a formal education in Naval Architecture or related fields.

Qualifications

• Proficient with AutoCAD 2D and 3D and other 3D tools.
• Formal education in Naval Architecture, Mechanical, or Marine Engineering.
• Experience with ship systems engineering and designing engineering mechanical components.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the creation of design office standards and practices.
• Capable of taking on project management tasks.
• Ensure OHSE policies and guidelines are carried out.
• Provide technical and professional help to junior employees.

Connaissances

Proficient with AutoCAD 2D and 3D

Knowledge of Classification Society regulations

Experience with ship systems engineering

Experience designing engineering mechanical components

Experience with aluminium and steel
