Job summary

TEMP-TEAM PTE LTD is seeking a Business Development Executive in Singapore to drive sales in the marine and offshore sector. You will split time between the office and frequent outdoor client visits to understand requirements and offer suitable rope solutions.

Ideal candidates have a diploma with 2–3 years of sales experience (or 1–2 years in Marine) and strong communication and customer service skills. Travel is a regular part of the role.

Qualifications

• Diploma in any field.
• 2–3 years of sales experience in any industry, or 1–2 years of sales experience in the Marine industry.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Professional and confident when dealing with customers.
• Willingness to travel frequently for outdoor client meetings.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing customer accounts and build long-term relationships.
• Identify and develop new sales leads and business opportunities.
• Meet customers and prospective clients to understand their requirements and propose solutions.
• Promote marine ropes, related products and solutions to customers.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms and contractual requirements.
• Attend trade exhibitions, industry events and customer meetings.
• Prepare sales activity and pipeline reports.
