Job summary

OakTree Consulting in Singapore is seeking a skilled engineer to own fabrication projects end to end, from planning and progress control through to final delivery. You will produce construction drawings, method statements, procedures, engineering calculations and risk assessments, while coordinating Material Take-Off lists and assisting procurement with vendor selection.

The role requires at least 2 years in steel fabrication, with strong knowledge of 2D AutoCAD, MS Office and MS Project; 3D

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering, ideally Marine/Offshore discipline.
• 2+ years of Steel Fabrication experience preferred.
• Proficient in 2D AutoCAD, MS Office and MS Project; 3D modelling is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Own fabrication projects end to end from planning to final delivery.
• Produce construction drawings, method statements, procedures, calculations and risk assessments.
• Compile MTO lists and assist procurement with vendor selection.
• Schedule and allocate manpower, materials and equipment to meet timelines.
• Work with QA/QC to develop ITPs and arrange third-party inspections.
• Monitor fabrication progress with production team and inform stakeholders regularly.
• Ensure daily operations comply with HSE requirements.
