Job summary

Talent First in Singapore is seeking a skilled mechanic to dismantle, repair, assemble and test mechanical products and components used in the marine industry.

You will inspect, replace worn parts, perform testing after assembly, use hand tools and workshop equipment safely, follow SOPs and 5S principles, and support additional workshop tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle, inspect, repair and assemble mechanical products and components.
• Perform testing after repair and assembly.
• Use hand tools, measuring tools and workshop equipment safely.
• Identify faulty or worn components and carry out necessary replacement.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and report complex problems to supervisors.
• Follow work instructions, SOPs and quality requirements.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and 5S within the workshop.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures.
• Support other workshop and repair activities when required.
