Job summary

ELITE INNOPLUS PTE. LTD. is seeking a mechanical/marine engineer to coordinate repair and maintenance schedules for marine equipment. You will liaise with customers and vendors, inspect equipment, prepare work requests, and lead projects on site or in workshop.

The role requires strong project management, ability to work independently in a fast paced environment, and reading technical drawings. Expect irregular hours and overseas travel when needed.

• Able to work in irregular hours.
• PC literate.

Responsibilities

• To liaise and coordinate with customers and vendors on the repair and maintenance schedule to meet the demands of the operations.
• To support manager on schedule planning, quality control, costing and project management.
• To inspect marine equipment and machinery in order to prepare work requests and job specifications.
• To lead team and responsibly handle projects in workshop or on site.
• To conduct environmental, operational, or performance tests on marine machinery and equipment.
• To maintain and coordinate repair of marine machinery and equipment for installation on vessels.
• To prepare service report & delivery order and job record.
• To ensure quality, environment, health & safety requirements are met and compliance with the ISO standard & requirements.
• Ensure service and commissioning works meet company technical, safety and quality standards.
• Prepare service documentation and provide technical updates on completed work.
• Support customers with technical issues relating to marine navigation and communication equipment.
• Travel overseas and support overtime work when required by operational or vessel schedules.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Marine Engineering

Requirements

At least minimum 3 years similar experience in Marine/Offshore environment.

Able to read technical drawings.

Excellent project management skills and ability to work independently in a challenging fast paced dynamic working environment and takes initiative to resolve issues.

Able to work in irregular hours
