Job summary

TALENT FIRST PTE. LTD. is seeking a workshop mechanic to dismantle, inspect, repair and assemble mechanical products and components used in the marine industry. You will perform testing after repair and ensure safety and quality standards in the workshop.

You will use hand tools and measuring devices, identify worn parts, and participate in basic troubleshooting. The role requires adherence to SOPs, 5S housekeeping, and teamwork in a busy marine workshop.

Qualifications

• Experience in dismantling and repairing mechanical components.
• Ability to read basic work instructions and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle, inspect, repair and assemble mechanical products and components.
• Perform testing after repair and assembly.
• Use hand tools, measuring tools and workshop equipment safely.
• Identify faulty or worn components and carry out necessary replacement.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and report complex problems to supervisors.
• Follow work instructions, SOPs and quality requirements.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and 5S within the workshop.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures.
• Support other workshop and repair activities when required.
