Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is hiring a marine mechanic to service and repair engines, generators, and electrical systems at shipyards and vessels around Tuas. duties include travel to sites, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining records.

The role requires certificates or a diploma and offshore/onboard work ability. Working hours are either 8.00am - 5.00pm or 8.00am - 12.00pm, with 5.5 working days per week. Basic salary ranges from SGD 1,500 to SGD 2,500 plus allowances, OT, AWS, and VB.

Qualifications

• Certificate, diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Proven work experience as a marine mechanic is a plus.
• Ability to work offshore and onboard vessels.

Responsibilities

• Travel to shipyards and vessels to carry out service and repair work.
• Test and check marine engines, generators, and electrical systems.
• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and overhaul of main engines and generators.
• Carry out equipment calibration at customer sites and in-house.
• Complete service reports, timesheets, repair records, and other required documents.
• Follow manufacturer service manuals and proper repair procedures.
• Complete service jobs efficiently and within the required time.
• Keep the work area clean, safe, and tidy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
