Job summary

INDEX CAREER CONSULTANTS PTE. LTD. is seeking an Electrical Draftsperson to prepare and maintain accurate electrical drawings for marine and industrial projects.

The successful candidate will work closely with engineers and project teams to translate technical requirements into detailed drawings and documentation. You will produce electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, cable-routing plans and equipment layouts using AutoCAD or similar software.

Qualifications

• Diploma or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Able to interpret electrical specifications, engineering drawings and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and cable-routing plans.
• Create equipment-layout drawings.
• Develop single-line diagrams and cable schedules.
• Update drawings to reflect engineering changes and site conditions.
• Ensure drawings meet technical standards and project specs.
• Maintain drawing registers, revisions and document-control records.
• Coordinate with engineers, project teams, suppliers and site personnel.
• Assist with as-built drawings and project documentation.
• Support site surveys and verification as required.
