Job summary

You will plan, coordinate and supervise engineering works, review drawings and specifications, and ensure compliance with project standards. The role requires reading technical docs, solving problems, and coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors and site teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in marine engineering or mechanical engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in marine, shipyard or offshore projects.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong problem-solving, coordination and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD or relevant engineering software is an advantage.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with project and site teams.
• Willing to work in shipyard, marine or offshore environments when required.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for marine, shipyard and offshore projects.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise marine engineering and installation works.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications and technical requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety and technical compliance.
• Assist with inspections, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Resolve technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions.
• Prepare technical reports, method statements and project documentation.
• Ensure engineering works comply with project specifications and relevant standards.
