Reporting to the Managing Director, provides marine-related advice, identifying new business opportunities, coordinating vessels managed by the organisation and liaising with Japan Headquarter and others to achieve annual key performance indicators.
Job Description
- Leverage relevant experience in hydrogen fuel cell technology to support the exploration of new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with Japan Headquarters on hydrogen-related projects.
- Provide expertise in PBCF (Propeller Boss Cap Fins) technology to support the potential business development.
- Oversee jobs awarded to us by customers during vessel dry docking including jobs carried out by our direct/indirect contractors and makers.
- Assist customers in sourcing for spare parts and services for the dry‑docking jobs.
- Assist customers in sourcing for repair and servicing jobs at anchorage for annual inspections.
- To assist operations department for sales enquiries, quotations and invoicing of completed jobs and collection/delivery if necessary.
Job Requirements
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Maritime Science and Technology Management or related from accredited university.
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in Marine Industry with deep understanding on various vessels type (VLCC, Container Ship, LNG Carrier, Car Carrier etc.).
- Possesses extensive knowledge of vessel operations and substantial onboard experience.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills in English and Japanese (Business Level), both written and verbal, to perform in an international environment.
- Complex Problem Solving – Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
- Independence – Requires developing one’s own ways of doing things, guiding oneself with little or no supervision, and depending on oneself to get things done.
- Experience serving as a project manager for a hydrogen fuel cell-powered vessel.
