Job summary

SONG CONSULTING PTE. LTD. seeks an instrumentation technician to calibrate and test onboard vessel systems including ODME, Oil Water Separator, gas detection, UTI and tank gauging.

You will ensure accurate readings and compliance with safety standards while supporting automation of vessel instrumentation. Responsibilities include performing calibration and functional tests on ODME and OWS, calibrating fixed gas detectors, multi-gas systems, pressure and temperature gauges, and conducting tank

Qualifications

• Experience calibrating ODME and OWS systems.
• Experience testing fixed gas detection systems onboard vessels.
• Ability to calibrate multi-gas detectors and gauges.
• Experience with ultrasonic thickness inspection and tank gauging.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and conduct functional tests on Oil Discharge Monitoring Equipment (ODME).
• Calibrate Oil Water Separator (OWS) systems for environmental safety.
• Test and calibrate Fixed Gas Sampling and Detection Systems.
• Calibrate Multi-gas Detectors for hazardous gas detection onboard vessels.

Job Summary

Perform calibration and functional testing of test and measurement instruments and equipment onboard vessels to ensure accurate operation and compliance with safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and conduct functional tests on Oil Discharge Monitoring Equipment (ODME) to verify accurate measurement and compliance
• Perform calibration and functional testing on Oil Water Separator (OWS) systems to ensure proper operation and environmental safety
• Test and calibrate Fixed Gas Sampling and Detection Systems to confirm reliable gas detection onboard vessels
• Calibrate Multi-gas Detectors to maintain accurate detection of hazardous gases for crew safety
• Calibrate Pressure and Temperature Gauges to ensure precise readings critical for vessel operations
• Conduct Ultrasonic Thickness Inspection (UTI) and Tank Gauging to assess vessel structural integrity and cargo levels
• Provide automation services related to vessel instrumentation to support operational efficiency and safety
