Job summary

SAACKE Singapore Pte Ltd seeks a skilled Service Engineer in Singapore with hands-on experience in boilers, burners, and marine automation. You will lead commissioning, maintenance, and on-site troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems aboard vessels and at our workshop, with regional and occasional global travel.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of troubleshooting experience, a strong automation background, proficiency in MS Office, and fluent English.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years troubleshooting electrical/electronic/mechanical systems.
Strong automation background essential for service delivery.
Proficient with MS Office for documentation and communication.
Fluent written and spoken English to ensure clear communication.

Responsibilities

Lead commissioning, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of marine electrical and mechanical equipment onboard vessels and in workshop.
Travel on short notice regionally and occasionally globally for onsite service support.
Follow Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment guidelines and report unsafe practices.
Prepare and obtain customer signatures on service certificates onsite.
Write detailed service reports outlining work, safety issues, and future actions.
Recommend spare parts to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
Identify and communicate sales opportunities to Service Managers.
Provide onsite and remote technical support to clients.
Collaborate with colleagues to foster a team-oriented environment and high-quality results.
