Job summary

HP in Singapore is seeking a Manufacturing Test Software Engineer to design, implement, and validate test software for HP products across mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software domains. You will collaborate with product development, factories, quality teams and external partners to improve test coverage, boost throughput, and ensure production readiness.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
More than 7 years of relevant experience preferred.
Strong programming fundamentals and interest in test automation, embedded systems, image processing, or AI/ML applications.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate across functions.

Responsibilities

Develop and support manufacturing test solutions with product development and production teams.
Design, implement, and validate test software across mechanical, electrical, firmware, software, and system-level requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure project execution and issue resolution.
Provide training and documentation to users within HP.
Improve test software robustness and support manufacturing quality.
Analyze test failures to identify root causes and propose design or process improvements.
Optimize test solutions to increase throughput and reduce cycle time.
