Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Singapore is seeking a hands-on EDM/CMM operator to join our onsite manufacturing team. The role requires cycling between setup, operation, and maintenance of Wire-EDM machines while adhering to SOPs and 6S lean practices.

The ideal candidate has NITEC in Precision/Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering and at least 2 years of EDM/CMM and manufacturing experience, with readiness for permanent night shifts and overtime when required.

Qualifications

• NITEC in Precision, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2 years EDM / CMM operation and maintenance experience.
• 2 years experience in Manufacturing, Precision Engineering or Machining.
• Hands-on with tools and equipment.
• Able to read and follow SOPs.
• Meticulous with an eye for detail and hands-on approach.
• Willing to work permanent night shift and overtime as needed.

• Comfortable with hands-on work to operate with the tools and equipment.
• Ability to understand basic technical instructions and standard operation procedures (SOP).
• Meticulous with an eye for details and adopts a hands-on approach.
• Willing to work permanent night shift and overtime on need basis.

Qualifications We Prefer

• EDM machining skills and knowledge.
• Relevant experience in operating CMM measurement machines.
• Relevant aerospace, manufacturing or precision engineering experience.
