Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, an RTX business, is seeking a Wire-EDM/CMM operation professional in Singapore to join our onsite manufacturing team. The role focuses on setting up and maintaining EDM machines, reading SOPs, and supporting cross-functional manufacturing processes to ensure safe, efficient production.

You will participate in EH&S programs and continuous improvement initiatives, with opportunities for skills development and certifications through our in-house training and external programs.

Qualifications

• NITEC in Precision, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2 years of relevant EDM / CMM operation and maintenance experience.
• 2 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing, Precision Engineering or Machining.
• Comfortable with hands-on work with tools and equipment.
• Ability to understand basic technical instructions and SOPs.
• Meticulous with an eye for detail and hands-on approach.
• Willing to work permanent night shift and overtime as needed.

What You Will Do

• 2 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing, Precision Engineering or Machining.

• Comfortable with hands-on work to operate with the tools and equipment.

• Ability to understand basic technical instructions and standard operation procedures (SOP).

• Meticulous with an eye for details and adopts a hands-on approach.

• Willing to work permanent night shift and overtime on need basis.

Qualifications We Prefer

• EDM machining skills and knowledge.

• Relevant experience in operating CMM measurement machines.

• Relevant aerospace, manufacturing or precision engineering experience.
