Position Overview

As a Manufacturing Technician, you'll work hands‑on in a cleanroom environment to build and test our multimillion‑dollar display and wafer fabrication equipment, including electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, sub‑assemblies, and components.

Role Responsibilities
  • Use work orders (including schematics, wiring diagrams, parts lists, and instructions) to build, repair and/or test equipment of various kinds (electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, sub‑assemblies, and components).
  • Work under supervision and follow the procedures learned during training to perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Perform audits to ensure all necessary parts are available, inspect parts for defects, troubleshoot processes, and improve procedures.
  • Utilize test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to test assemblies, sub‑assemblies, and components.
  • Complete required job documentation (data entry) about progress, work expense, and labor details; perform computer programming, repair, or software installs as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
  • A high school or technical diploma, technical degree, certificate, or equivalent.
  • Basic skills in an analytical or scientific method or operational process.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures (written and verbal).
  • Knowledge of basic hand tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Up to 1 year of semiconductor or display experience, or comparable industry or military experience.
  • A technical education, certifications, or training.
  • Experience working within standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods and adhering to quality guidelines.
  • ASSEET certification (if applicable).
  • BSEET (DeVry, TSTC) certification (if applicable).
Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding position that often requires standing for extended periods, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, distinguishing colors, working in noisy environments, using hand and power tools, and operating heavy machinery including forklifts. Because this position may involve working in a cleanroom, the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields may be required.
