Job summary

Emerson Asia Pacific Private Limited is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support production equipment, perform maintenance, manage spare parts, and drive improvements to ensure quality and uptime in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, experience with preventive maintenance, and knowledge of PLC/automation systems. A diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering is preferred, with 3+ years of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• Proficient in equipment troubleshooting, fault diagnosis and maintenance support.
• Experience in preventive maintenance activities including inspections, servicing, calibration and replacement of wear & tear components.
• Knowledge of PLCs and automation systems enabling support of operation, troubleshooting and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Address production redlights related to equipment/tool failure and ensure timely recovery of manufacturing operations.
• Perform equipment/facility maintenance activities including PM, CM and AM to ensure continuous production operations and uptime.
• Execute in-house testing and calibrations of equipment per procedures and quality standards.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors for contract services and projects to support objectives.
• Manage spare parts inventory, stock replenishment and tracking of critical spares to minimize downtime.
• Drive continuous equipment improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
• Support production rework activities to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications.

In this role, you will support in ensuringproduction equipment are active and stable, perform equipment/tool repair &maintenance, handle spare parts management and drives equipment improvement.You will work closely with engineering & production team to help ensureproduct quality, equipment reliability, and operational excellence whilecontributing to a collaborative and innovative manufacturing environment.

In this Role, YourResponsibilities Will Be:

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Proficient in equipment troubleshooting, faultdiagnosis and maintenance support for resolving mechanical and electricalissues.
• Experience in performing preventivemaintenance activities including inspections, servicing, calibration andreplacement of wear & tear components in accordance with maintenanceschedules.
• Possess working knowledge of PLCs andautomations systems, enabling effective support of equipment operation,troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications thatSet You Apart:

• Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineeringor any related field
• Minimum 3 years of related manufacturingexperience
• Knowledge of welding automation systems andprocess is preferred and will be considered an added advantage.
