Job summary

EnviroDynamics Solutions Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Engineering Assistant, Manufacturing Process with 3+ years of experience in manufacturing. You will provide engineering support for manufacturing equipment and processes, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and ongoing improvements to hardware and control software.

The role also involves identifying process problems to improve quality and reduce scrap, managing spare parts inventory, and supporting new program start-ups.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Production, or Chemical Processing Engineering or 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in PLC programming.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on production equipment.
• Improve and upgrade production equipment hardware and control software.
• Identify and solve process problems for quality improvement and scrap reduction.
• Manage equipment spare parts inventory.
• Install and qualify new processes and equipment.
• Support new program/model start-ups.
• Ensure minimal machine downtime and product scrap.
• Communicate effectively with operators, supervisors, and support teams.
