Job summary

RAPID RECRUITMENT ASIA PTE. LTD. is seeking an engineer to drive product and process development from prototype to mass production at our Joo Koon facility in Singapore. You will collaborate with production, QA and other teams to implement improvements and ensure robust documentation.

The role requires hands-on development experience, proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD, and familiarity with ERP systems. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in product/process development.
• Hands-on experience in product/process development.
• Comfortable working with production/shopfloor teams.
• SolidWorks and AutoCAD skills required.
• ERP experience (SAP/Mobius or similar) is an advantage.
• Experience in RCA, CAPA, and materials/process qualification is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Role Summary

Location: Joo Koon – 5 mins from MRT
Salary: Up to S$5,000/month + Variable Bonuses
Working Hours: Mon–Fri, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Job Responsibilities

• Lead new product and process development from prototype to mass production.
• Work closely with Production, QA and other teams on product and process improvements.
• Prepare technical drawings, SOPs, control plans and engineering reports.
• Support prototype production, testing and qualification activities.
• Troubleshoot production or customer issues and recommend solutions.

• Develop test plans and evaluate raw materials, processes and finished products.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and sustainability.
• Coordinate with internal teams, customers and suppliers on technical matters.
