Kanry Search in Singapore is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer (Sheet Metal) to design sheet metal components, prepare engineering drawings with CAD, and work closely with production teams to ensure designs meet quality, cost, and manufacturing requirements.

You will support new product development, reverse engineering, BOM maintenance, and provide technical documentation and testing support to help deliver projects on time.

Qualificações

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication, mechanical design, or manufacturing engineering is preferred.
• Proficient in CAD software and engineering drawing interpretation.

Responsabilidades

• Design sheet metal components and prepare engineering drawings using CAD software.
• Select appropriate materials based on product specifications, functionality, and cost considerations.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are practical and suitable for manufacturing.
• Support new product development, reverse engineering, and continuous design improvements.
• Assist with quality inspections, product testing, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare, maintain, and update bills of materials (BOMs) and engineering records.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions to meet project requirements and deadlines.

Location: Kallang Road, Singapore

Basic Salary: Up to S$3,800 + OT opportunities (max up to 72hrs permonth)

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Employment Type: Direct Hire

About the Role

Our client is seeking a Production Engineer with experience in sheet metal design and manufacturing to support engineering projects, product development, and production operations. The ideal candidate should be able to interpret engineering requirements and work closely with production teams to ensure designs meet quality, cost, and manufacturing requirements.
