Job summary

RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Singapore East to develop and improve manufacturing processes for new and existing products.

You will support NPI, product transfers, and engineering projects, and maintain critical engineering documents including BOMs and work instructions. Responsibilities include process validation, equipment qualification, PFMEA support, and technical issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Min Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Min 2 years of relevant engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, process validation, and PFMEA.

Job description

Our client is one of the leading players in the medical devices manufacturing sector. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a multiple headcounts of Manufacturing Engineer to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the East area.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
• Support new product introduction (NPI), product transfers, and engineering projects.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documents, including BOM, work instructions, and process documentation.
• Perform process validation, equipment qualification, and support PFMEA activities.
• Provide technical support to resolve production, equipment, and process-related issues.
• Implement engineering changes, process improvements, CAPA, and non-conformance corrective actions.
• Analyse production data and recommend process improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, R&D, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Train production personnel on manufacturing processes and work instructions.
• Perform ad-hoc duties and improvement projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Min Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Min 2 years of relevant engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, process validation, and PFMEA.
• Exposure to NPI, R&D, or engineering projects would be advantageous.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
