Job summary

NEXBRIDGE Recruitment Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Diploma-qualified process engineer to lead manufacturing process improvements for new products and equipment in medical device production, including documentation and release of processes.

You will train shopfloor personnel, conduct PFMEA and process validation, implement CAPA actions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance quality and manufacturing efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant manufacturing/process engineering experience.
• Experience in medical device manufacturing and assembly is advantageous.
• Experience with PFMEA and process validation.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and troubleshooting.
• Six Sigma training or certification will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise manufacturing processes for new products, equipment, and production set-ups.
• Prepare, review, and release technical documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOM), Work Instructions, Route Cards, and other relevant process documents.
• Conduct training for shopfloor personnel on manufacturing processes, work instructions, and equipment operations.
• Provide timely technical support to investigate and resolve manufacturing process, equipment, and component-related issues.
• Implement engineering changes and process improvements arising from process issues, Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and customer complaints.
• Lead Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (pFMEA) activities to identify potential process risks and implement appropriate controls.
• Perform equipment qualification and process validation activities in accordance with established requirements and procedures.
• Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising relevant data, information, and trends.
• Participate in product transfer activities and new product or project implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement and manufacturing efficiency.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
