Job summary

RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD. is seeking a Production Engineer for a multinational contract manufacturing client in the North region of Singapore.

You will provide technical support for molding and assembly automation, troubleshoot issues, and help drive process improvements. The role requires at least 3 years in manufacturing engineering in molding and a diploma or degree in engineering. You will collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and NPI teams and contribute to trials, validations, and ECO/ECN

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience in molding.
• Diploma or Degree in Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for molding and/or assembly automation processes, including troubleshooting equipment and process-related issues.
• Apply scientific molding and structured problem-solving methods to improve process stability, yield, and overall production performance.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality and production issues.
• Support mold/tooling trials and process validations (IQ, OQ, PQ) to ensure reliable production processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve OEE, reduce scrap and cycle time, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Manage Engineering Change Notifications (ECN), including impact assessment, validation, and implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Maintenance, NPI) and support customer communications on technical clarifications and product changes.
