Job summary

Achieve Career Consultant Pte Ltd is seeking a project and facilities engineer to manage detailed project schedules, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure equipment maintenance across manufacturing facilities in Singapore.

The role involves coordinating MTTR improvements, overseeing installation and testing of new equipment, and maintaining service logs while upholding safety and quality standards in a food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment maintenance, and safety standards.
• 1–3 years of engineering experience with manufacturing equipment/machines.
• Proficiency in Excel and CAD tools (AutoCAD & Inventor preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed project schedules and ensure all assigned tasks are completed.
• Review and prepare project-related correspondence, including progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Facilitate interactions between external suppliers, contractors/sub-contractors, and the project team to ensure smooth delivery of work.
• Liaise with external suppliers and professionals to support project needs and provide technical requirements for the team.
• Ensure factory facilities are consistently maintained to high standards of cleanliness, functionality, and security.
• Initiate MTTR improvements and manage all machine/equipment breakdown cases, ensuring timely repair.
• Coordinate and drive new equipment installation, commissioning, testing, and release for operational use.
• Update daily Maintenance Job Order records for management review.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date machine and equipment service logbook.
• Support new product development by establishing machine-handling SOPs and ensuring smooth Go-Live implementation.

Project Management

• Prepare detailed project schedules and ensure all assigned tasks are completed within the given time frame.
• Review and prepare project-related correspondence, including progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
• Facilitate interactions between external suppliers, contractors/sub-contractors, and the project team to ensure smooth delivery of work, including providing training to production crews
• Liaise with external suppliers and professionals to support project needs and provide technical requirements for the team

Facility Management

• Ensure factory facilities are consistently maintained to high standards of cleanliness, functionality, and security

Equipment Management

• Initiate mean time to repair (MTTR) improvements and manage all machine/equipment breakdown cases, ensuring timely repair
• Ensure all machinery undergoes regular servicing as scheduled
• Update daily Maintenance Job Order records for management review
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date machine and equipment service logbook
• Support new product development by establishing machine-handling SOPs and ensuring smooth Go-Live implementation
• Coordinate and drive new equipment installation, commissioning, testing, and release for operational use

People Management

• Ensure all team members follow factory operation procedures, processes, and internal/external quality requirements, complying with food safety, quality standards, and statutory laws

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment maintenance, and safety standards
• Preferably 1–3 years of engineering experience with manufacturing equipment/machines (experience in food manufacturing is an advantage)
• Proficient in Excel and CAD tools (AutoCAD & Inventor preferred)
