Job summary

TALENTVIS SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks a Continuous Improvement Engineer (contract) to drive operational excellence in a large-scale manufacturing setting. You will lead CI initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen, and collaborate with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to deliver measurable improvements.

You will analyze processes, develop training on CI methodologies, and help foster a strong CI culture while monitoring impact and ensuring sustained benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or a related discipline, preferably Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering.
• Relevant experience within a manufacturing/production environment is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma and Value Stream Mapping.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across different functions and levels.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with the initiative to drive Continuous Improvement activities.
• Ability to work independently as well as within cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support CI projects using Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies.
• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for productivity, quality and process improvements.
• Collect and analyze operational data to establish baselines and measure performance.
• Facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and support implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct Value Stream Mapping (VSM), time studies and process capability analysis.
• Drive implementation of 5S, Visual Management, Standard Work and Mistake-Proofing (Poka-Yoke).
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality and other stakeholders on improvement initiatives.
• Develop and conduct training on Continuous Improvement tools and methodologies.
• Promote employee participation and support the development of a strong Continuous Improvement culture.
• Monitor and measure the effectiveness of implemented improvements.
