Job summary

AMGEN SINGAPORE MANUFACTURING PTE. LTD. seeks an Automation Engineer to support design, maintenance, optimization and lifecycle management of manufacturing automation systems. You will troubleshoot, implement changes and ensure GMP, GEP, EHSS and regulatory compliance across projects.

We value experience with Siemens/Rockwell PLCs, HMI/SCADA, BMS and QEMS, plus data integrity and CAPA know-how. The role involves mentoring junior staff and supporting audits to sustain safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience with GMP, GEP and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11, data integrity and deviation/CAPA processes.
• Biotech/pharma automation exposure with lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day automation support: troubleshooting, monitoring, change implementation.
• Assess, test, deploy and document automation changes per SOPs and GMP.
• Support automation projects from design through commissioning and handover.
• Troubleshoot issues, prepare technical reports, identify recurring improvements.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, IT/OT and external providers.
• Share knowledge and mentor junior engineers and contractors.
