Job summary

Soitec is seeking a production operator to oversee equipment in the manufacturing line, ensuring high quality SOI and Refresh products. You will follow SOPs, prevent non-conformances, and strive for on-time delivery while maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.

Daily responsibilities include monitoring equipment, planning output to meet plans, and participating in improvements and trainings to raise overall performance in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Requires NITEC or O/A levels with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with cleanroom environment/protocols.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Able to work day/night 12-hour shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment in assigned area and perform basic maintenance in one tool group to manufacture high quality SOI and Refresh products.
• Execute operations according to SOP and actively prevent NC to ensure no non-conformance and wafer scrap.
• Monitor and expedite all production lots; manage WIP in the production line and plan output according to MMP requirements to meet daily targets.
• Monitor basic tool process stability in a process group and follow qualifications to restore production after maintenance or interventions.
• Perform routine control checks and ensure production equipment is in good condition to maintain product quality.
• Participate in improvement activities and trainings to raise overall standard of work.

What does the job consist?

Purpose

Responsible for production equipment, quality of output, on-time delivery, improvement, quality, safety and housekeeping in the manufacturing line to manufacture high quality SOI and Refresh products for Customers with the objective of ensuring smooth business operations within department guidelines and corporate policies.

Responsibilities

• Production Equipment
  • Operate production equipment in assigned area perform basic maintenance in one tool group to manufacture high quality SOI and Refresh products.
• Quality and Quantity of Output
  • Execute operations according to SOP and actively do NC prevention to ensure no non-conformance and wafer scrap.
• On-time Delivery
  • Monitor and expedite all production lots, WIP control in the production line, plan for output according to MMP requirements to achieve minimum cycle time and meet the daily plan outputs to meet customers’ demand.
• Basic Process Stability
  • Monitor basic tool process stability in 1 process group, able to follow a sequence of qualifications to put tool back into production after maintenance / sustaining intervention to sustain and improve on the overall quality of wafers produced.
• Quality
  • Perform routine control checks, follow up with necessary corrective actions and ensure production equipment is in good working condition to ensure the quality of products and services.
• Improvement
  • Participate in improvement activities and trainings assigned to improve overall standard of work.
