Job summary

Soitec Microelectronics Singapore Pte. Ltd. seeks a Production Operator to support the manufacturing of SOI and Refresh wafers. You will operate production equipment, perform basic maintenance, and follow SOPs to maintain high quality and on-time delivery in a cleanroom environment.

The role requires at least 2 years of experience, basic computer skills, good communication and teamwork, and willingness to work 12-hour day/night shifts on a monthly rotation.

Qualifications

• NITEC or O/ A levels with minimum 2 years of experience.
• Basic computer skills, basic knowledge of cleanroom environment/protocol.
• Good communication skills, good team player.
• Able to work on day/night 12 hour shift as required (monthly rotate).

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment in assigned area and perform basic maintenance in one tool group.
• Execute operations according to SOP and actively do NC prevention to ensure no non-conformance and wafer scrap.
• Monitor and expedite all production lots and plan output to meet daily plan outputs and customer demand.
• Monitor basic tool process stability and follow a sequence of qualifications to keep tool in production after maintenance.
• Perform routine control checks to ensure production equipment is in good working condition and quality of products.

Job description

Purpose

Responsible for production equipment, quality of output, on-time delivery, improvement, quality, safety and housekeeping in the manufacturing line to manufacture high quality SOI and Refresh products for Customers with the objective of ensuring smooth business operations within department guidelines and corporate policies.

Responsibilities

Production Equipment:

• Operate production equipment in assigned area perform basic maintenance in one tool group to manufacture high quality SOI and Refresh products.

Quality and Quantity of Output:

• Execute operations according to SOP and actively do NC prevention to ensure no non-conformance and wafer scrap

On-Time Delivery:

• Monitor and expedite all production lots, WIP control in the production line, plan for output according to MMP requirements to achieve minimum cycle time and meet the daily plan outputs to meet customers’ demand

Basic Process Stability:

• Monitor basic tool process stability in 1 process group, able to follow a sequence of qualifications to put tool back into production after maintenance/sustaining intervention to sustain and improve on the overall quality of wafers produced

Quality:

• Perform routine control checks, follow up with necessary corrective actions and ensure production equipment is in good working condition to ensure the quality of products and services

Improvement:

• Participate in improvement activities and trainings assigned to improve overall standard of work
