Ampere Markets Pte. Ltd. is an energy and commodities inter-dealer brokerage firm headquartered in Singapore. We specialize in facilitating OTC and exchange-traded transactions across global energy and environmental markets, providing professional brokerage services to institutional clients.

As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Managing Director to lead our Singapore business and drive the company's next phase of expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall strategic direction and day-to-day management of the company.
• Develop and execute business strategies to achieve sustainable revenue growth and profitability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, brokers, exchanges, clearing firms, and industry stakeholders.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the company's product offerings and market presence.
• Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and business planning.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and internal governance policies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team while fostering a culture of integrity, collaboration, and excellence.
• Report to the Board of Directors on business performance, strategic initiatives, and key risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. An MBA or professional qualifications will be an advantage.
• At least 10 years of senior leadership experience within financial services, commodities, energy markets, or inter-dealer brokerage.
• Proven track record in developing and growing a brokerage or trading business.
• Strong understanding of OTC derivatives, energy markets, commodities, and exchange-traded products.
• Excellent commercial acumen with demonstrated experience in business development and client relationship management.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Experience working within a regulated financial services environment.
• Familiarity with Singapore financial regulations and regional energy markets will be highly desirable.
