NTU's corporate web estate spans more than 150 site instances and over 50,000 pages and content items. As a key inbound communications channel, it is where prospective students, researchers, partners, donors, media and the public discover NTU, understand what the University has to offer and, ultimately, choose to engage. Its effectiveness therefore depends not only on robust technology and disciplined delivery, but also on sound digital communications and editorial judgement.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end web and digital projects from planning and requirements gathering through development, UAT, deployment, go-live and post-implementation support, ensuring delivery to agreed scope, timeline and budget.
- Manage project governance and delivery, including project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, change requests, budgets and management reporting, with timely escalation and resolution of key matters.
- Translate business, communications and marketing objectives into clear requirements, user stories, functional specifications and acceptance criteria, ensuring alignment among stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage internal and external delivery partners, including appointed vendors and agencies, to ensure deliverables, solution designs, service levels and contractual commitments are met.
- Drive digital experience and audience journey optimisation, applying user experience, information architecture, content structure, audience segmentation and conversion principles to improve how audiences discover and engage with NTU.
- Strengthen NTU's inbound digital performance, including SEO, AEO and GEO, search visibility, landing-page effectiveness, conversion optimisation, lead generation and web analytics.
- Uphold web quality, accessibility and experience standards across the corporate web estate, including design consistency, WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility, performance, content quality, navigation and information architecture.
- Use data and user insights to inform improvements, leveraging web analytics, search data, user research and usability testing to identify opportunities and prioritise enhancements.
- Strengthen web governance and operational readiness, including publishing workflows, roles and permissions, quality assurance, content review cycles, documentation, training and transition of projects into business-as-usual operations.
- Coordinate multiple concurrent projects and priorities, maintaining a forward view of the web project pipeline and sequencing initiatives according to strategic priorities, resources, budgets and stakeholder readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Communications, Digital Media, Marketing or a related discipline, with 5-8 years of relevant project management experience.
- Proven track record in independently managing end-to-end website and digital projects, including website redesigns, replatforming, content migration and digital enhancements.
- Strong experience in vendor, agency and stakeholder management, with the ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, budgets, timelines and risks in a complex organisation.
- Strong understanding of digital experience and inbound marketing, including SEO, AEO, GEO, audience journeys, conversion optimisation, information architecture and web analytics.
- Working knowledge of web technologies and CMS platforms such as Sitefinity, Sitecore, Drupal, WordPress or Adobe Experience Manager, with sufficient technical literacy to engage effectively with developers and vendors.
- Good understanding of UX, accessibility and web quality standards, with experience using analytics, search data and user insights to drive continuous improvement.
