Singapore Post Limited is seeking an experienced treasury professional to manage cash optimization, execute FX/FD/bonds, and coordinate inter-company lending within a compliant framework. The role involves administering the TMS and electronic banking platforms, preparing monthly treasury reports, and supporting audits.
You will also negotiate banking facilities, liaise with Legal and Company Secretary, and drive value through process improvements.
Manage SingPost's cash management for greater cash holdings efficiency, enhanced returns and to ensure greater consciousness and accountability on the deployment of cash
Manage and execute FD, FX, derivatives, bonds, deposit and borrowing transactions
Receive and manage inter-company deposit & loan requests
Execute the treasury transactions in adherence to the Treasury policies eg, comply to counterparty limit etc
Set up and negotiate banking facilities at Company or ultimate holding company level and cooperate with legal team on review of agreements
Assist in treasury related documentation (e.g. bank documents, etc.)
Assist subsidiaries and BUs to obtain Banker’s Guarantee from banks.
Prepare and analyze monthly treasury reports and its related reports
Support Internal and External Audit
Compute WACC for SingPost
Develop relationships with other functions and BUs as well as with subsidiaries
Assist in ad-hoc treasury related projects
Act as TMS system and various electronic banking platform administrator
Maintain and update list of authorised signatory
Maintain user access and bank account details in the TMS system
Facilitate the Finance team and the counterparty’s back office on deal confirmation
Manage the preparation and execution of all documents arising from treasury transactions
Coordination with counter-parties and internally (e.g. Legal, Company Secretary etc.) on the necessary documentation
Input/processing of deals to ensure timely settlement
Liaise with other functional groups or banks to resolve execution issues and provide assistance where necessary
Assist with Insurance related matters
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
At least 5 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in TMS and various electronic banking platforms and intermediate Excel skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify issues and drive solutions.
Strong communication and people management skills.
