Job summary

Institute for Human Resource Professionals (IHRP) is seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure professional for a 1-year contract position at Lifelong Learning Institute, Singapore. You will own and manage the organisation's IT infrastructure, cloud environment, and workplace tech, including Microsoft 365, Azure, and security controls.

Key focus areas include cloud platforms, cybersecurity posture, risk and compliance, and collaboration with external vendors to ensure service quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or IT operations.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, cybersecurity, and vendor management.
• Experience in automation, scripting, application development, or DevOps is advantageous.

Responsibilities

We are currently hiring for a 1-year contract position, with the potential for renewal

Working hours: 8.30am to 6.00pm (Monday to Thursday), 8.30am to 5.30pm (Friday)

Information Security, IT Infrastructure & Operations

• Own and manage the organisation's overall IT infrastructure, cloud environment, and workplace technology services.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, endpoint management, device security, email security, and identity and access management.
• Manage cloud infrastructure, networking, system availability, backup, disaster recovery, monitoring, and business continuity capabilities.
• Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the organisation's cybersecurity posture, ensuring appropriate security controls across applications, cloud platforms, endpoints, and user environments.
• Manage vulnerability assessments, security incidents, remediation activities, audit responses, risk registers, and compliance requirements.
• Oversee outsourced IT vendors and managed service providers, ensuring service quality, operational stability, security compliance, and adherence to service level agreements.
• Lead IT infrastructure projects, technology upgrades, platform migrations, and implementation of new digital solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement across IT operations, infrastructure performance, workplace technology services, and user experience.
• Develop and maintain IT policies, standards, operational procedures, and governance frameworks.

Cloud Platform Engineering & Applications

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based business applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Manage Azure resources including Azure Functions, App Services, Azure SQL Databases, Storage Accounts, and related platform services.
• Develop and maintain APIs and integrations with internal and third-party systems.
• Develop solutions using Python, Java, SQL, JSON, and other relevant technologies.
• Ensure cloud applications are secure, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with organisational requirements.

DevOps, Automation & Security Integration

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
• Apply secure coding practices, OWASP principles, and DevSecOps methodologies throughout the application lifecycle.
• Implement role-based access controls (RBAC), authentication, and security monitoring capabilities.
• Develop automation solutions using PowerShell, Python, and Power Automate to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
• Utilise GitHub and JIRA for version control, project management, issue tracking, and change management.

Preferred Experience

• 5+ years in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or IT operations.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, cybersecurity, and vendor management.
• Experience in automation, scripting, application development, or DevOps is advantageous.
