Job Description: DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Manager, TA APAC, located in Shanghai, Shanghai, or in Australia, or in Singapore.
The Manager, TA APAC leads and delivers end‑to‑end talent acquisition strategy and execution across the Asia‑Pacific region. This role partners closely with business leaders and HR to build diverse, high‑quality talent pipelines, improve hiring outcomes, and ensure a consistent, compliant, and engaging candidate experience. The role offers the opportunity to shape regional hiring strategy, lead teams, and make a measurable impact on growth and capability building in a dynamic MedTech organization.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
Experience and Skills: Required: Typically 10 years of progressive talent acquisition experience, including 5+ years TA leadership or people‑management responsibilities. Demonstrated experience leading regional or multi‑market recruitment in APAC. Strong stakeholder‑management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders. Experience with TA assessment and selection tools to recruit top talent. Proven ability to use recruiting data and insights to drive selection, decisions and outcomes. Experience managing recruiting operations, vendors, and external partners. Strong people‑leadership, coaching, and change‑management capabilities.
Preferred: Experience recruiting within Orthopaedics industry. MedTech, Pharma, or Healthcare experience also considered Familiarity with APAC labor markets, hiring practices, and compliance considerations. Experience driving employment branding projects to improve candidate attraction. Experience driving TA transformation, process improvement, or technology implementation. Background working in a global, matrixed organization.
Other: Language: Fluent English required; Mandarin Chinese and Japanese strongly preferred.
Travel: Up to ~20%, primarily within APAC region.
Certifications: Talent acquisition or HR certifications preferred but not required.
