Job summary

Ministry of Education in Singapore seeks a Manager/Senior Manager (Digital Transformation) to design and develop AI-powered tools that streamline administrative and procurement processes. You will translate operational pain points into AI solutions and work closely with subject matter experts to improve work efficiency.

You will design AI bots using OGP platforms, integrate them into a unified system with Agentic AI, and contribute to training materials and knowledge transfer at project closes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI bots using Open Government Products (OGP) tools and platforms to address key operational pain points and drive operational efficiency.
• Build and integrate individual bots into a unified AI system using Agentic AI architecture on OGP platforms, ensuring seamless cross-referencing and information retrieval.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather requirements, validate outputs, and iteratively refine the bots to meet operational needs.
• Coordinate system-related work and assist with the preparation of training materials, and monitor onboarding and usage of the AI tools in the division.
• Manage knowledge transfer at the conclusion of each project, including handover of all relevant materials such as user manuals, guides, and training documentation.

What the role is:

As a Manager/ Senior Manager (Digital Transformation) in the Administration Branch under the Curriculum Planning and Development Division 2, you will be developing AI-powered tools to streamline administrative and procurement processes. You will work closely with subject matter experts and translate operational pain points into functional AI solutions to improve work efficiency.

What you will be working on:

• Design and develop AI bots using Open Government Products (OGP) tools and platforms to address key operational pain points and drive operational efficiency


• Build and integrate individual bots into a unified AI system using Agentic AI architecture on OGP platforms, ensuring seamless cross-referencing and information retrieval


• Collaborate with subject matter experts from the respective Sections to gather requirements, validate outputs, and iteratively refine the bots to meet operational needs


• Coordinate system-related work and assist with the preparation of training materials, as well as monitor onboarding and usage of the AI tools in the division


• Manage knowledge transfer at the conclusion of each project, including the handover of all relevant materials such as user manuals, guides, and training documentation

What we are looking for:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex operational workflows and translate them into technical solutions


• Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with non-technical subject matter experts


• Experience in AI or software development, with hands-on knowledge of building chatbots, AI agents, or similar intelligent systems


• Ability to work with both structured and unstructured data sources to build reliable information retrieval systems


• Familiarity with Agentic AI architecture and Open Government Products (OGP) tools would be an advantage
