Singapore Public Service is seeking an intellectually curious researcher to own projects from framing questions to design and analysis, with a goal of informing IMDA strategy and policy. The role focuses on Singapore’s digital economy and data-driven policy insights.
The candidate will lead quantitative analyses, translate complex results for diverse audiences, and contribute to strengthening research standards within RSU and IMDA.
This role sits with the Research & Statistics Unit (RSU), which undertakes economic research and data analytics to deepen understanding of Singapore’s digital economy as well as inform IMDA’s strategy and policy development. The team closely supports the policy divisions’ needs for data-driven insights for policy and programme formulation.
We are looking for an intellectually curious and independent researcher who has demonstrated the ability to take ownership of research projects, from framing research questions, through research design and quantitative analysis, to communicating insights and implications incisively. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated with a keen interest in driving the growth of Singapore’s digital economy and digital society.
Position will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
