Job summary

Singapore Public Service is seeking an intellectually curious researcher to own projects from framing questions to design and analysis, with a goal of informing IMDA strategy and policy. The role focuses on Singapore’s digital economy and data-driven policy insights.

The candidate will lead quantitative analyses, translate complex results for diverse audiences, and contribute to strengthening research standards within RSU and IMDA.

Qualifications

• Background in Economics, Data Science, or related quantitative field.
• 4–8 years of experience in economic research or data analytics.
• Ability to formulate research questions and apply quantitative methods.
• Experience engaging stakeholders to shape research questions and deliver findings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in Python, R, and data visualization tools like Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Lead research projects on Singapore’s digital economy and policy impact.
• Collaborate with policy divisions to sharpen analytical problems.
• Apply econometric and data science methods to datasets to derive insights.
