IMDA is seeking an intellectually curious researcher to lead projects from framing research questions through to communicating insights. The role focuses on Singapore’s digital economy and the impact of IMDA policies, with collaboration across policy divisions.

The ideal candidate has 4–8 years in economic research or data analytics, strong quantitative skills, and the ability to present complex findings to varied audiences. A rigorous, independent mindset is essential.

Formación

• Background in Economics, Data Science or a closely related quantitative discipline.
• 4-8 years of experience in economic research, quantitative policy research or applied data analytics.
• Strong research capabilities to independently frame questions and apply analytical methods.
• Ability to engage stakeholders to shape research questions and deliver policy-relevant findings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to explain complex concepts clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Lead research projects analyzing Singapore's digital economy and the impact of IMDA policies.
• Collaborate with policy divisions to identify research opportunities and sharpen problem statements.
• Apply econometric and data science techniques to diverse datasets to derive robust insights.
