Job summary

ABeam Consulting is seeking a seasoned professional to establish and operate the Regional Center of Excellence (CoE) for the APAC Core Banking Rollout Program. You will define regional standards, playbooks, templates, and governance, aligning them with country delivery needs.

Key focus areas include coordinating cross-country deployments, identifying gaps, and driving regional improvement backlog while collaborating with CPM, Country teams, IT, and SMEs to deliver scalable banking

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
• Minimum 5 years in business/ IT consulting, system implementation, or CoE/ standardization activities.
• Strong analytical, facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience developing methodologies, operating models, governance frameworks, templates, and RACI/decision rights.

Responsibilities

• Establish and operate the Regional Center of Excellence (CoE) function for the APAC Core Banking Rollout Program.
• Identify gaps in standards, playbooks, methodologies, ownership, quality, and applicability by Country delivery needs.
• Define and develop Regional standards, templates, and estimation guidance.
• Establish boundaries between Regional standards and Country requirements, including RACI and approvals.
• Collaborate with domain SMEs and Country teams to develop solution options and guidelines.
• Coordinate cross-functional reviews to ensure consistency across countries and releases.
• Support Country teams with workshops, guidance, and rollout support.
• Pilot with Thailand/BKK to validate standards and capture lessons learned.
• Publish Regional standards and manage version control and deployment.
• Prioritize the CoE backlog based on impact, maturity, and dependencies.
• Work with CPM and Country teams to drive continuous improvement of standards.

• Establish and operate the Regional Center of Excellence (CoE) function for the APAC Core Banking Rollout Program.
• Identify gaps in existing standards, playbooks, methodologies, ownership, quality, and applicability based on Country delivery needs.
• Define and develop Regional standards, methodologies, policies, templates, Task Cards, quality criteria, acceptance criteria, and estimation guidance.
• Establish clear boundaries between Regional standards and Country-specific requirements, including RACI, ownership, approval processes, and decision rights.
• Work with domain SMEs and Country teams to develop solution options, recommended approaches, assumptions, dependencies, and exception-handling guidelines.
• Coordinate cross-functional reviews across business and technical domains to ensure consistency and manage dependencies across countries and releases.
• Support Country teams in applying Regional standards through workshops, guidance, FAQs, joint design, and rollout support.
• Use Thailand/BKK as the pilot to validate standards, capture lessons learned, and distinguish common requirements from local requirements.
• Convert validated pilot outputs into Regional standards and support their approval, publication, version control, training, and deployment to subsequent countries.
• Manage and prioritize the CoE improvement backlog based on business impact, urgency, reuse potential, Country maturity, and dependencies.
• Work with CPM and Country teams to identify recurring issues and drive continuous improvement of Regional standards.
• Collaborate effectively with Regional, Country, Business, IT, SME, and vendor stakeholders.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business/ IT consulting, system implementation, transformation delivery, process design, or CoE/ standardization activities, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Strong analytical, facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven experience in developing or improving methodologies, operating models, governance frameworks, templates, deliverables, quality criteria, RACI, or decision rights.
• Ability to identify and analyze delivery gaps relating to knowledge, policy, decision criteria, ownership, input information, or delivery capability.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and dependencies across business, architecture, data, infrastructure, testing, migration, cutover, compliance, and customer/user domains.
• Experience supporting pilot implementation, lessons learned, standardization, and multi-country/multi-business-unit rollout.
• Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills.
• Experience in Core Banking implementation, regional rollout, Target Operating Model, or Playbook development is an advantage.
• Banking domain knowledge in areas such as Trade Finance, Lending, Payments, Cash Management, Treasury & Markets, Deposits, Accounting, Customer, Compliance, UAT, Testing, Migration, or Cutover is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Trade360, Oracle FLEXCUBE, Murex, ACBS, Finastra GPP, or Oracle ERP is an advantage.
• Strong English communication and documentation skills.
