Job summary

ABeam Consulting in Singapore is seeking an experienced System Analyst / Business Analyst to help deliver banking transformation projects. You will review requirements, analyze system designs, and ensure alignment with business goals across Payments, Cash Management, and Transaction Banking.

Collaborate with business users, IT teams, vendors, and regional stakeholders to map end-to-end processes, define interface specifications, and support governance, risk, and reporting activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, business, finance, or related field.
• 3+ years as System Analyst or Business Analyst in banking projects.
• Business-level English communication (written & spoken).
• Experience reviewing functional specs, system design docs, interface specs, and business requirements.
• Strong knowledge of Payments, Cash Management, Transaction Banking, or Corporate Banking.
• System Analyst experience within banking environments.
• Ability to analyze end-to-end transaction flows, system interactions, and dependencies.
• Experience in data mapping, interface specs, and message transformation logic.
• Experience in governance, PMO support, vendor management, and reporting is beneficial.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a System Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role in banking system projects.
• Business-level English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience reviewing functional specifications, system design documents, interface specifications, and business requirements.
• Strong knowledge of Payments, Cash Management, Transaction Banking, or Corporate Banking.
• Strong System Analyst experience within banking environments.
• Ability to analyze end-to-end transaction flows, system interactions, and dependencies.
• Experience in source-to-target data mapping, interface specifications, message transformation logic, and functional specifications.
• Experience conducting impact analysis, gap analysis, and requirements clarification.
• Ability to review solution designs and challenge technical proposals from vendors.
• Experience working with business users, IT teams, vendors, and regional stakeholders.
• Experience in Cash Management System (CMS) platforms, Transaction Banking transformation, payment modernization, or ISO 20022 migration projects is advantageous.
• Understanding of cloud-based banking architectures, API integrations, middleware platforms, and system migration initiatives is preferred.
• Experience in project governance, PMO support, vendor management, project planning, status reporting, and project controls is beneficial.
• Experience supporting regional APAC banking projects or working in Japanese corporate environments is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.
• Strong ownership, accountability, and commitment to project success.
